The 2015 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeots has a lovely licorice-tinged bouquet that displays impressive intensity and vigor. The palate is honeyed on the entry with touches of orange zest and dried pineapple, quite harmonious with a vibrant spicy finish that lingers longer in the mouth than its peers. I like the vim and vigor of this premature Chassagne - it bodes well for the future.

Bright yellow. Deeply pitched aromas of yellow stone fruits, pineapple, hay and flowers. Supple and rich but with its rather exotic mirabelle and honey flavors cut by harmonious acidity. In a very ripe style.
