The entry-level Marchesi Antinori 2019 Villa Antinori is Sangiovese blended with smaller parts Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and other complementary red grapes. It offers roundness, supple red and purple fruit flavors, balanced spice and freshness. The main theme here is primary fruit and general vitality. The wine philosophy is meant to be an expression of the Antinori brand, and indeed fruit is sourced from across the family holdings in Tuscany. You get terrific value in an easy-drinking red.

The 2019 Villa Antinori is plump, juicy and super-expressive. Black cherry, plum, mocha, new leather, licorice and spice are all dialed up in this delicious, succulent red from Antinori. The Villa Antinori is a blend taken from the Antinori family's many properties across Tuscany.
