Score 92/100 · Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Jun 2013

The 1988 Ursules has a beautiful bouquet of fresh strawberry, cranberry, minerals and orange blossom. There is an undertow of dried fruit, touch of cepes and a hint of pepper. The palate is medium-bodied with a firm, linear entry. The tannins are strict here with tart red fruit, light cherry, soy and black pepper. This is drinking beautifully now, although it should hold its position for another three or four years. Tasted December 2012.
