Delicious now, offering currant, chocolate and spice aromas and flavors. Some smokiness. Medium-to full-bodied with creamy tannins and a flavorful finish. Drink now and enjoy.

Beautiful, with classic notes of cassis, plums, cigar wrapper and chocolate, the Merlot-dominated 2011 Limoux is medium to full-bodied, supple and elegant on the palate. It's beautifully balanced and shines for its elegance and purity. The wine is not massive, but should keep nicely through 2023. I underrated this on release.
