Black cherries, leafy herbs, leather, and hints of truffle all emerge from the 2019 Château Larmande, a medium-bodied, elegant, very pretty, balanced Saint-Emilion that has supple tannins and outstanding length. I like it today, yet it's going to keep for 10-15 years with no issues.

The 2019 Larmande offers up aromas of smoky cherries and blackberries, followed by a medium to full-bodied, supple and succulent palate, with a delicate core of fruit, melting tannins and succulent acids. It's a fleshy, open-knit, giving wine in a fruit-driven, accessible style.

The 2019 Larmande has kicked on nicely during its barrel maturation, now presenting aromas of black currant, raspberry, peony and light undergrowth scents. The oak is neatly integrated here. The palate is fresh and vibrant with crisp tannins and beautifully integrated oak toward the harmonious finish. One of the best that I have tasted from this estate.
