The 2015 Cap de Mourlin is a solid wine, but it offers only modest depth and complexity. Drink it over the next handful of years. It would be nice to see a little more of everything here.

Medium garnet-purple in color, the 2015 Cap de Mourlin opens with bright, vibrant red fruits with blackberry accents and earthy undertones. Medium to full-bodied with soft, supple, approachable tannins and plenty of freshness, it finishes on an earthy note. Drinking well now, it should easily cellar for 10-12 years.

The 2015 Cap De Mourlin is a charmer with its tobacco, red plum and leafy herb aromas and flavors, yet lacks mid-palate depth and length. Drink up.
