Score 15.5/20 · Drink 2017-2021, Jancis Robinson MW, Jun 2018

Lighter, fresher wine from this notably successful AXA-owned property. Orange gold. Certainly clean enough on the nose though a little heavier on the palate than some vintages. Definitely ready – the lower-acid parcels of wine perhaps? Lacks lift and concentration but it will do for current drinking. Bit short. (JR)

A bit of bottle maturation has steered this rich, yet lively Sauternes to a very appealing harmony. Plenty of candied-citrus and some cooked-pineapple character, well balanced by the crisp acidity, making this an ideal wine for blue cheese. Drink or hold. Second wine of Château Suduiraut.
