Score 87-89/100 · Drink 2020-2027, Neal Martin, Jan 2020

The 2018 Monthélie Village had just been racked and is matured in 35% new oak with no bâtonnage. It has a lovely peachy bouquet with touches of brioche. The well-balanced palate offers touches of orange peel and apricot. Nicely focused with good weight on the finish. This is a very commendable Monthélie Blanc.
