Cask sample. Gorgeous aroma that is all about burgundy: a complex mix of lively citrus fruit and subtle oak/lees influence giving a touch of spice. Fills the mouth with its rounded texture but has the purity of citrus that gives a long, refined aftertaste. (JH)

The 2021 Meursault Les Grands Charrons has a charming bouquet with yellow plum, vanilla pod and light apricot blossom scents, quite Charmes-like in style. The palate is well balanced with a fresh, slightly tangy entry, orange rind and hints of mango, vibrant in style with a brisk and breezy, elegant finish. Lovely, but I would enjoy this over the first ten years of its life.
