Tasting notes
I don't see the 2022 Château Quinault L'Enclos matching the 2019 or 2020, but it's clearly an outstanding wine. Based on 63% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon, it's a medium to full-bodied, concentrated, and structured red, with ripe blackcurrant and plum fruits, some scorched earth and chocolate nuances, firmer tannins, and a good finish. It should come together nicely in bottle.

The 2022 Quinault l'Enclos is rich and generous, bursting with aromas of blackberries, plums and dark fruit preserves. Medium to full-bodied, broad and supple, with powdery tannins that temper its somewhat jammy core of fruit, this will drink well young.
63% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Cabernet Franc. Cask sample. Lifted and linear with crunchy, juicy fruit. Tannins ripe and supple. Appealing wine for relatively early drinking. (JL)
