The 2022 Les Gravières has an open bouquet with blackberry, raspberry and potpourri aromas joining the fray with time. The palate is medium-bodied with touches of red berry fruit and cola, with a little attenuation on the finish. It's not bad—I would drink this over the next ten years.
The 2022 Les Gravières is so distinctive. Gravel, incense, licorice, inky blue-toned fruit, pencil shavings and lavender all race across the palate. The sustained finish is a thing of beauty. Give the tannins a few years to soften.
