The 2018 Siaurac offers smudged blackberry, boysenberry and cassis scents on the nose, high-toned and gradually finding more refinement with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent tannins that belie that structure that lies behind it. Attenuates slightly toward the finish, though I do appreciate the salinity on the aftertaste. Fine.

The 2018 Siaurac is a very pretty, silky Lalande de Pomerol. Sweet dark cherry, chocolate, spice and licorice are nicely delineated. The interplay of fruit intensity and energy makes for a compelling Right Bank red to drink over the next handful of years. This is very nicely done.

The 2018 Siaurac is bright, plummy and super-inviting. Mocha, spice and floral notes wrap around a core of dense, pliant fruit in this succulent, racy Lalande de Pomerol. I did see some variability in barrel samples, but the best examples were compelling. Tasted three times.
