The 2021 Marjosse Blanc has a light apple blossom and jasmine-scented bouquet that unfolds nicely in the glass. The palate is well balanced with a lightly spiced entry, malic in style, curiously Sauvignon-like when in fact it is 100% Sémillon. But still this snappy dry white will drink well for three to four years.

The 2021 Marjosse Blanc is terrific. In 2021, the Blanc has a bit more texture than normal, and that works so well in playing off the natural energy that is such a signature here. Lemon confit, white flowers, lime and a touch of marzipan all grace this engaging dry white. The 2021 is showing beautifully, despite its recent bottling just a few months ago. Tasted two times.

Exhibiting aromas of crisp white peach, freshly baked bread and fresh herbs, the 2021 Marjosse Blanc is medium-bodied, lively and delicately textural. Composed entirely of Sémillon, a bit of bottle age will see it become more demonstrative.
