Tasting notes
Score 87/100 · Drink 2013-2015, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Apr 2008

Greppone Mazzi's 2003 Brunello di Montalcino is an excellent wine for near-term consumption. It offers a delicate, feminine expression of flowers, spices, candied cherries and toasted oak in a plush, super-ripe style. It possesses excellent length yet the aggressive 2003 tannins leave their mark, giving the wine a somewhat angular, rough around the edges profile.
