Score 89-91/100 · William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2022

The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Les Athets reveals aromas of sweet raspberries, orange rind, rose petals and musk. Medium to full-bodied, nicely concentrated and precise, it's lively and penetrating, concluding with a chalky finish. This derives from a precocious site below Beaux Bruns and Aux Echanges.

The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Les Athets is quite backward on the nose with blackberry, undergrowth and touches of ink coming through with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, sorbet-fresh with veins of orange zest and quince that enliven the finish. Quite Vosne-like in style. Give this 3-4 years in bottle.
