The 2022 Mâcon-Pierreclos Lieu Secret, which comes from XXXX (hey, it's a secret, although I was informed at the tasting), is picked three or four times. It has quite a mineral/limestone-tinged bouquet that is more Zen-like than other cuvées. The palate is fresh and vibrant, with lively acidity and plenty of peach and Clementine notes, which give a satisfying weight to the discretely reductive, dense finish. Enjoy this over the next 6-7 years.

Another of the portfolio's highlights is the 2022 Mâcon-Pierreclos Lieu Sécret, a racy and precise wine that offers up aromas of pear, hazelnuts, white flowers and freshly baked bread. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive, with a chalky, penetrating finish, it has turned out well.
