A delicious village wine, the 2015 Volnay is bright, focused and pure, with brisk red-toned flavors, expressive floral notes and plenty of supporting structure. There is a real pop to the flavors today. The Volnay is a blend of fruit from Lurets and Cros Martin. - Antonio Galloni

The 2015 Volnay Village from two lieux-dits has an attractive and upfront bouquet with blueberry and dark plum fruit, quite vivacious as any self-respecting Volnay should be. The palate is medium-bodied with tightly wound, dark plum fruit, a bit pinched on the second half although it should fill out nicely once it has been raked. This should be a delicious Volnay, probably one to enjoy in its flush of youth.
