Score 91/100 · Drink 2025-2031, Eric Guido, Vinous, Sep 2023

The 2019 Noà is dark and dusty in character, showing musky dried citrus, savory herbs and crushed ashen stones. It's silky in texture with a flourish of tart citrus up front that complicates its tart red and black fruits. The 2019 leaves a bitter tinge and web of fine tannins under an air of violet inner florals as exotic spice hints slowly fade. Patience will be required. The Noà is a blend of 40% Nero d'Avola, 30% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2019 Sicilia Noà is 40% Nero d'Avola, 30% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Vigneto Sotto Le Case Tenuta Presti e Pegni. The wine is loaded and rich with dark fruit, spice, tobacco and baking chocolate. There is a hint of tannic bitterness over a full-bodied mouthfeel, and the alcohol content is powerful at 15%. Some 20,000 bottles were released.
