Score 85/100 · Drink 2021-2026, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Mar 2021

The 2018 Fleur de Pédesclaux is a mid-weight, fruity Pauillac to drink now and over the next few years. It doesn't have the depth or power of the Grand Vin, but it also avoids the excesses of that wine. Crushed flowers, red berry fruit and spice linger.

The density of this second wine of Pédesclaux is impressive with savory and juicy fruit and mushroom undertones. Medium to full body, savory tannins and a delicious finish.
