Alto regularly delivers a white Bordeaux that redefines the category. Loved the 2019 of this wine, and this maintains the core quality, with ripe peaches and steelier citrus fruit, delivered with a gunsmoke finish. 10% new oak, harvest August 31 to September 1 - the first time the harvest for this wine had begun in August.

The 2020 Alto de Cantenac Brown has a light grass clipping and apple orchard nose that needs more vivacity and energy. The palate is better, offering a slightly viscous, tropical-driven entry. A rich and decadent white Margaux that needs more acidity to maintain the tension.
