The 2021 Peyrabon has a pleasant nose, a little rustic in style, with blackberry, graphite and perhaps less of the tobacco than I noted from barrel. The palate is medium-bodied with a slightly raw entry. Simple in style, this has a slightly metallic finish.

The 2021 Peyrabon has a pleasant nose of blackberry and briar scents and a touch of cigar humidor. The palate is medium-bodied with a sour cherry entry, rather bitter on the midpalate, and missing some grip on the finish.

The 2021 Peyrabon is a gorgeous, affordable Haut-Médoc that shows just how intriguing the vintage is on the Left Bank. Aromatic, gracious and impeccable in its balance, Peyrabon is absolutely delicious.
