Tasting notes
Score 87-90/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2008

(also 35% new oak) Modestly saturated medium red. Subdued but pure aromas of musky wild blackberry, blueberry, dark chocolate and violet. Distinctly silkier in texture than the Feusselottes or Plantes, with a suaver palate feel and more obvious sweetness. This spreads out nicely on the back end, showing much more aromatic persistence.

Very reticent on the nose, hints of dark spice. Savoury, dark chocolate texture. Brisk and promising. (JH)
