Dark brown. Recalls those sweet wines in the Soviet archive – a bit of rancio, a bit of compost. Macerated raisins and a strongly rancio/bitter finish. Sightly hard work. This would need very careful food matching. Not that sweet. Bit more like a madeira. (JR)
