Offering up aromas of dark cherries, berries, spices and loamy soil, the 2020 Monthélie Les Duresses is medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated, with terrific depth and energy. It's one of the finest renditions of this cuvée that I can remember tasting chez Lafon.

The 2020 Monthélie Les Duresses has a clean and fresh blueberry and blackcurrant scented bouquet. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly furry tannins, fine depth with a plummy finish that would benefit from a little more delineation. Bottled under Diam 30. Closure: Diam 30
