Tasted blind. Fresh and polished, just a little simple. Speaks more of winemaking than terroir. Slightly pinched end. A bit dull. (JR)

61% Merlot picked 20-28 Sep and 39% Cabernet Franc picked 9 and 10 Oct. From mass selections from Ch Lafleur and Ch Grand Village (same owners). Nervy and dense with real savoury excitement. Very sophisticated and rewarding – more structured than the Grand Village Rouge. (JR)
