2018 Vosne Romanee Les Rouges du Dessus

The 2018 Vosne-Romanée Les Rouges des Dessus has quite a generous, slightly smudged bouquet of copious red cherry, cranberry and earthy aromas, perhaps suffering just a little reduction at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins and a precise, mineral-driven finish that delivers just the right amount of sapidity. Once those aromatics gain some clarity, this will be a very fine Vosne-Romanée that maybe you could compare with Cécile Tremblay’s own take on the vineyard.
