Score 86-88/100 · Drink 2024-2030, Neal Martin, Jan 2023

The 2021 Pommard Les Chaponnières 1er Cru is more successful on the nose than the Perrières with pleasant brambly red fruit and loamy scents. The palate is medium-bodied with a sour cherry tinged entry. A light Pommard with a slightly gourmand, cereal finish. Early drinking.
