Tasting notes
Score 88/100 · Drink 2022-2029, Neal Martin, Mar 2021

The 2018 Mongravey is high-toned on the nose, featuring blueberry, black cherries, crushed violet and blood orange. The palate is medium-bodied with cedar-infused black fruit, a fine bead of acidity and good cohesion, and what it lacks in depth it compensates with freshness and joie-de-vivre . Fine.

Cru bourgeois supérieur.   60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc. Deep crimson. Dark fruited and fresh with leafy, blackcurrant notes. Juicy palate, again with graphite freshness. Tannins relatively fine although a little chewy, possibly green on the finish. More of a classic Margaux. (JL)

Fresh and zingy red with blueberry and orange-peel aromas and flavors. Medium body and firm, chewy tannins. Bright finish.
