There are eight barrels of the 2021 Aloxe-Corton La Toppe Au Vert 1er Cru. It was a little closed on the nose, although there seems to be some attractive mulberry fruit here. The palate seems very capable, but there was too much CO2 for me to really read this.

The 2021 Aloxe-Corton 1er Cru La Toppe Au Vert, a cuvée derived from very old vines, offers up aromas of dark berries, rose petals and exotic spices. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with powdery tannins and lively acids, it stands out this year.
