Score 90/100 · Drink 2024-2031, Erin Larkin, Wine Advocate, Mar 2024

The 2021 McCutcheon Pinot Noir leads with baked biscuit and malt, kirsch and poached strawberry, a hint of pastrami and dried fig. On the palate, the wine is a little smoky and quite savory, with bone broth and roasted sweet marrow, and dried herbs and hung deli meat to close. 12.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.

Score 95/100 · Drink 2024-2032, Angus Hughson, Vinous, Sep 2023

The 2021 Pinot Noir McCutecheon showcases impressive all-around finesse, starting with stunning perfumed wild strawberry, rhubarb, potting soils and spice nuances, which are deceptively powerful. The pinpoint balance between silky acidity and lacy tannins sets the scene, with ethereal layers of dark cherry and rose petals holding firm over a long, sustained finish.
