Lots of ripe cherries, assorted red fruits, dried flowers, and spicy notes emerge from the 2020 La Dame De Boüard, a charming, medium-bodied, elegant, and delicious 2020 to drink any time over the coming 7-8 years.

The 2020 Dame de Boüard is a tasty second wine. It offers up racy, super-ripe red fruit, orange peel, cinnamon, mocha and apricot, all in a forward style that can be enjoyed on release. Even with all of its natural exuberance, the Dame de Boüard retains notable finesse.

Full bottle 1,266 g. Certified HVE.  Inky fruit, cedary oak. Gritty, ink-dust-powdery tannins. Big but quite short and there are holes between the tannins and alcohol and oak. (TC)

The 2020 Dame de Boüard is a powerful, brooding wine. Strong floral and savory accents wrap around a core of inky red fruit, and the Cabernet aromatics are especially marked. There a few hard edges at present, but hopefully élevage can sort these out.
