Score 86/100 · Drink 2015-2023, Robert Parker, Apr 2015

A blend of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc, Du Taillan’s 2012 is certainly one of the more successful cru bourgeois that I tasted. Quite well-made, pure and ripe, this dark ruby/plum-colored wine has round, generous flavors, medium body and sweet tannin in the finish. It is drinking well now and should continue to do so for another 5-8 years.
