The 2023 d'Arsac has a well-defined bouquet with blackberry and raspberry fruit, cedar and sous-bois scents coming through with time. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, gentle grip, quite linear in style with a fresh, quite structured finish.

This has good depth of dark fruit, offering black currants, chocolate and roasted spices. Almost full-bodied, it’s tight-grained and structured, but with polished tannins and a long, muscular finish. Try in 2028.

Medium-bodied, fresh, vibrant red berries with notes of dried flowers and red currants show in the nose, and on the palate. The finishes with a crispness to the red fruits on the palate, and in the backend of the endnote.

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2023 d'Arsac waltzes out with showy scents of red cherry preserves, redcurrant jelly, and spice cake followed by hints of wild thyme and forest floor. The medium-bodied palate is soft and juicy, with just enough freshness and a savory finish. The blend is 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot.
