A blend of 90% Semillon, 5% Sauvignon Blanc, and 5% Muscadelle, the 2023 de Myrat has 145 g/l of residual sugar and a pH of 3.64. It has a pale lemon-straw color and it is quite closed to begin, offer shy scents of juicy pears, apple butter, and sea spray, plus nuances of lime blossoms and chamomile. The palate delivers beautifully balanced, tight-knit orchard fruit flavors, with great tension, finishing long and pure.

The palate is well balanced with a tangy orange rind and peachy opening. Not as complex as some of its peers, it’s linear and lively. This is what feels like a Sauternes that will be easy to drink. Fine.

Delicious, extremely silky, richly concentrated but with great balance to the deeply textured with nectarine pit, juicy white flowers, delicous balance, good quality. Pontac family, Slanie de Pontac Ricard director, 21ha.
