Deep purple-hued, the 2023 Madame De Beaucaillou has medium to full-bodied aromatics of red and black fruits, spicy wood, tobacco, and hints of loamy earth. It's beautifully textured, with ample density and depth, ripe tannins, and outstanding length. Drink this beautiful Haut-Médoc over the coming 10-12 years. Drink 2026-2037.

Good freshness and finesse, with a touch of minerals to the perfumed red fruit. Good tension, with a medium body and fresh, fine-grained tannins. Tense, crunchy fruit finish. 59% merlot, 37% cabernet sauvignon and 4% petit verdot. Drink or hold.

The 2023 Madame De Beaucaillou is a terrific Haut-Médoc, with a juicy, medium-bodied, elegant style as well as the pure, ripe, red and almost blue fruit character of the vintage. Spice, spring flowers, and hints of charcoal all define the aromatics, and it has beautiful tannins as well as balance.
