The 2023 Reysson is a very pretty Haut-Medoc. Floral top notes lift a core of bright red-toned fruit, orange peel and pomegranate. This mid-weight, perfumed Haut-Médoc is all charm.

The 2023 Reysson has a slightly rustic nose, black fruit mixed with damp, earthy, mulchy aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with stringy tannins, fine acidity but it feels a bit stolid toward the finish.

Cru bourgeois exceptionnel. 83% Merlot, 11% Petit Verdot and 6% Cabernet Franc on clay-limestone. Aged for 1 year in oak barrels (20% new). Deep crimson. Totally inviting aromas of pure black fruit, cassis and black plum, sweet-fruited but still distinctively bordeaux. Perfect balance between finely dry tannins and scented black fruit, with a long, fresh finish. Well-priced bordeaux at its best. GV (JH)

A fine and linear red with a solid structure, polished tannins and medium body. Fresh on the finish.
