The 2017 Puligny-Montrachet Le Trézin is showing well from bottle, unfurling in the glass with notes of fresh peach, white flowers, green apple, pastry cream and toasted almonds. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, pure and tensile, with a lovely spine of ripe acidity, concluding with an elegantly chalky finish.

The 2017 Puligny-Montrachet le Trezin has quite a broody and intense bouquet with scents of white flower and wet wool, almost like a fine Chenin Blanc. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, precise and detailed if not powerful, but that precision is maintained all the way through to the poised finish. Enjoy this over the next three to six years. (DIAM closure)
