The 2021 Puligny-Montrachet Les Levrons is quite intense on the nose for a Village Cru, struck flint filtered through the Granny Smith and yellow plum scents. Nicely focused, though not powerful. The palate is well balanced with hints of tropical fruit on the entry, orange pith mixed with pineapple, yet upholding fine tension. The palate is well balanced with a dash of spice on the entry, taut and fresh with a long and sustained finish. Excellent.
