Score 90-92/100 · Drink 2026-2036, Neal Martin, Jan 2023

The 2021 Marsannay La Montagne has plenty of juicy red fruit on the nose, touches of orange pith emerging with time. The palate is well balanced with quite a firm backbone, flinty, almost graphite-like towards its "serious" finish. Give it time in bottle.

Score 92/100 · Drink 2023-2035, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2023

The 2021 Marsannay La Montagne is especially floral, delivering scents of rose petals, peonies, orange rind and spices in addition to hints of sweet red fruit. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with velvety tannins and a perfumed finish, it derives from a south-facing site with shallow soils.
