The 2021 Marsannay Grasse-Tête is very harmonious on the nose, with black plum and peony scents and fine delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, fine tension and focus. Touches of white pepper on the understated finish linger in the mouth. Lovely.

Score 91/100 · Drink 2025-2037, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2023

Wafting from the glass with notes of plums, cherries and raspberries mingled with notions of orange zest and peonies, the 2021 Marsannay Les Grasses Têtes is medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with powdery tannins that assert themselves on the saline finish, its generous attack tempered by back-end structure.
