Tasted blind. Pale lemon colour. Neutral nose with a swish of lemon oil and hay – closed and quiet. Lean palate with high but balanced acidity. Not much flavour concentration. Just a touch of yeasty lees on the finish. Added after reveal: I thought this was a less-ripe Bourgogne! It doesn’t have the flesh or warmth I’ve come to expect of Mâcon. Wouldn’t recommend for blind-tasting but this would appeal to those who want their white burgundy on the leaner and greener side. (SCJ)

Pale lemon. Ripe, apple with a slightly waxy quality. Open. Simple but very fresh, with juicy acidity and good focus. (MH)
