Full bottle 1,442 g. 76- to 101-year-old vines. Organic certification. Aged 15 months in barrel. Ruby garnet hue. Minerally and firm with a smoky edge, the fruit present but subtle. Builds on the palate, the tannins firm but refined. Intense, textured, juicy but dry, the finish with a refreshing saline edge. Everything in balance. Offers another dimension to this cru. (JL)

The 2019 Moulin-à-Vent La Roche, grown on pink sand and pink granite soils, has a harmonious nose of blackberry and light earthy aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with layers of ripe blackberry and raspberry fruit laced with mint. Quite exotic toward the finish.
