Pretty, fine-textured red with plum and chocolate character and just a hint of mushroom. Medium body, round tannins and a flavorful finish. Second wine of Lynch-Moussas. Drink or hold.

The 2016 Les Hauts de Lynch Moussas is a blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon and 32% Merlot. That Merlot comes through quite strongly on the nose with black cherry and blackcurrant aromas, the oak nicely integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, a fine bead of acidity, good body with a harmonous, cedar and allspice tinged finish. Note: This will be released once the wine has been bottled and not during en primeur.
