Medium-bodied, spicy red fruits with floral accents are all over the place here in this medium-bodied, sweet and savory, chewy red berry filled wine. There is a nice touch of crushed rocks in the finish. Drink from 2023-2034.

Aromas of blackcurrants, chocolate nibs and sweet spices with an earthy character to it. Medium-bodied with firm, lightly dusty tannins and a juicy red and blue berry character. Refreshing and solid in the finish. Drink or hold.

The 2020 Les Cerisiers is racy and upfront, with tons of red/purplish fruit, spice and sweet floral notes that all meld together. In 2020, Les Cerisiers is not as opulent as it can be, but it is still tasty and one of the best values in Bordeaux.

Full bottle 1,238 g. 90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Big tannins, dense tea-leaf astringency, laid over and through very ripe, very dark blue-black fruit. But stemmy and remarkably fresh for a 15%er. Although the fruit is held back by the tannins. Some black-olive bitterness which builds through the central line. Chewy. (TC)
