The 2019 Côtes du Jura Florine is 100% Chardonnay from vines planted in 1986. Opening with a distinctive Ganevat-style nose of baked apple, lemon peel and dried flowers, the 2019 Florine is super-tasty. Medium-bodied at most, it packs striking energy and touches the mid-palate with uplifting freshness.

The still-unbottled 2019 Florine was produced with Chardonnay grapes from vines planted by Ganevat's father and named after his daughter. The bunches from the biotype with small berries were pressed, and the juice fermented to produce this golden-colored wine that is ripe and has notes of honey. With time, it gains in finesse and is vibrant and makes you salivate. The whites are not much about the variety, but about the soil.
