Possessing a great nose of ripe currants, earthy darker cherries, chocolate, cedar, and a touch of tobacco, the 2019 Château Clément-Pichon is medium-bodied and has a seamless, balanced mouthfeel, nicely integrated acidity, and a great finish. It's another impressive Haut-Médoc in the vintage with loads to love. It should have 10-12 years of prime drinking.

The 2019 Clément-Pichon has a tightly knit nose that unfurls to reveal brambly red fruit, sage and light cedar aromas. The palate is medium-bodied and quite fleshy, with supple tannins and a saline element on the structured finish. This will need a couple of years, at least, just to smooth its edges.
