A somewhat simple, lighter style of 2009, with a quickly evaporating finish, this wine needs to be drunk over the next 5-7 years.

Very dark crimson. Interesting tea-leaf nose. Fresh and fragrant. Gentle rather than very extreme texture – though there is marked alcohol on the finish. Aromatically interesting though it is pretty chewy on the end. A little aggressive, especially the tannins. (JR)
