Pale, bright yellow-gold. Low-toned, slightly muddy nose is rather unforthcoming today. Better in the mouth, where the candied peach and apricot flavors are distinctly brighter. Brisk acids give this moderately rich wine a slight tart edge and carry the fruit. But lacks real fleshiness.

Pale gold with green tints. Reserved, slightly sugary nose. Very simple sugary palate with certainly some green fruit flavour and noble acidity but very little botrytis character. Raw greenness to the finish. (JR)
