Still quite dark crimson. Nicely integrated nose and beautifully balanced. Looking very good now. Classic claret with enough fruit for the evident tannin and acidity just right. Very much a classic St-Julien. GV (JR)

Tasted blind.  Deep ruby. Wild-berry fruit on the nose. Succulent black fruit on the palate. Very chunky, with firm and drying tannins on the back end. Lacking a little fruit to match the burly structure. Warming finish. (TP)
