Rudd's 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Samantha's is dark, sumptuous and very nicely textured. Dark red and black fruit, leather, smoke, dark spices and menthol flesh out in a surprisingly dense wine for the year. Graphite, orange peel and purplish hued fruits add an exotic flair on the highly expressive finish.

Rudd's 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Samantha's is gorgeous. Fine, silky tannins support a core of expressive dark red berries, flowers, mint and sweet spices, all of which meld together in an attractive, mid-weight Cabernet with tons of near term appeal. Sweet floral and spiced notes reappear on the finish, adding perfume and class. The 2011 is 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 7% Petit Verdot and 4% Malbec.
